AIR CLEANER BODY REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover, if equipped.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (Fig 1) #3 from the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
4. Loosen the clamp (Fig 1) #4 at the throttle body.
5. Disconnect the fresh air makeup hose (Fig 1) #2 from the air cleaner body.
6. Disengage the coolant hose from the two retainers (Fig 1) #6.
7. Remove the two bolts (Fig 1) #5 from the air inlet hose.
8. Disengage the air inlet hose from the throttle body and pull the air cleaner body (Fig 1) #1 straight up off of the three locating pins.
AIR CLEANER BODY INSTALLATION
1. Install the air cleaner body (Fig 1) #1 straight down on the three locating pins while engaging the air inlet hose to the throttle body.
2. Install the two bolts (Fig 1) #5 to the air inlet hose and tighten to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
3. Engage the coolant hose to the two retainers (Fig 1) #6.
4. Install the fresh air makeup hose (Fig 1) #2 to the air cleaner body.
5. Tighten the clamp (Fig 1) #4 at the throttle body to 4 N.m (35 in. lbs.).
6. Connect the electrical connector (Fig 1) #3 to the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
7. Install the engine cover, if equipped.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
