Disc Brake Rotor (Front) Explanation

FRONT BRAKE ROTOR REMOVAL
1. Remove wheel and tire assemble.
2. Remove caliper adapter (Fig 1) #2. Refer to ADAPTER, DISC BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVAL
3. Remove retainers securing rotor to hub studs (if applicable).
4. Remove rotor (Fig 1) #3 from hub.
5. If rotor shield requires service, remove front hub and bearing assembly.

FRONT BRAKE ROTOR INSTALLATION
1. Clean the hub from any rust before installing the rotor.
2. Install rotor on hub.
3. Install caliper. Refer to CALIPER, DISC BRAKE, INSTALLATION
4. Install wheel and tire assembly. Refer to WHEELS, STANDARD PROCEDURE
