Door (Front) Explanation

FRONT DOOR REMOVAL
NOTE: Front door check strap shown, rear doors are similar.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) at the A-pillar cowl area and separate the check strap
(2) from the footman's loop (1).
2. Remove the nuts (1) and lift the door (2) up off hinges and remove.

FRONT DOOR INSTALLATION
1. Align pins on door hinge to holes in hinge on body and position door into place.
2. Install the nuts (1) and tighten to 8.5 N.m (75 in. lbs.).
3. If necessary, adjust the door (2). Refer to ADJUSTMENTS
4. Secure the check strap (2) over the footman's loop (1) and connect the electrical connector
(3).
