Power Steering Pump Reservoir Explanation

POWER STEERING PUMP RESERVOIR REMOVAL
1. Siphon the power steering reservoir (Fig 1) #1.
2. Loosen and move the hose clamps (Fig 1) #3 and #5 backwards on the power steering hoses at the reservoir #1.
3. Remove the return hose (Fig 1) #4 from the reservoir.
4. Remove the supply hose (Fig 1) #6 from the reservoir.
5. Remove the reservoir mounting bolt (Fig 1) #2.
6. Remove the reservoir (Fig 1) #1.

POWER STEERING PUMP RESERVOIR INSTALLATION
1. Install the reservoir (Fig 1) #1 onto the mounting bracket.
2. Install the mounting bolt (Fig 1) 2.
3. Install the supply hose (Fig 1) #6 to the reservoir #1.
4. Install the return hose (Fig 1) #4 to the reservoir #1.
5. Reconnect the hose clamps (Fig 1) #3 AND #5 on the hoses at the reservoir #1.
6. Add power steering fluid. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE
