POWER STEERING PUMP RETURN HOSE REMOVAL
1. Siphon as much fluid as possible from the power steering fluid reservoir.
2. Remove the air box assembly. For 2.8L diesel, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL For
3.0L, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL. For 3.6L, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL
3. Remove the clamp (Fig 1) #3 for the return hose #4 at the reservoir #1 and then remove the hose.
4. Move the coolant bottle to the side out of the way.
5. Remove the return hose (Fig 2) #1 at the gear.
6. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE, REMOVAL
7. Remove the panel in between the grille and the bumper (Fig 3) #3.
8. Remove the return hose routing clips (Fig 3) #1 at the body.
9. Remove the return hose (Fig 2) #1 from the vehicle.

POWER STEERING PUMP RETURN HOSE INSTALLATION
1. Install the return hose to the vehicle.
2. Install and secure the return hose at the routing clips (Fig 3) #1.
3. Install the bumper to grille panel (Fig 3) #3.
4. Install the return hose (Fig 2) #1 at the gear and tighten the tube nut to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the return hose (Fig 1) #4 at the reservoir #1.
6. Reinstall the coolant bottle back into position.
7. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE
8. Check for leaks.
9. Install the air box assembly. For 2.8L diesel, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION
For 3.0L, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION. For 3.6L, refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION
10. Install the front grille. Refer to GRILLE, INSTALLATION
